Buried at Reese's Chael, 9 miles south of Columbia on Campbellsville Pike. Capts commission May 7, 17777. Served as Adjt of 2nd Battalion in Chester county, Pennsylvania Militaia under Evan Evans. Fought from Philadelphia to Charleston, S.C. married Columbia, Tennessee to Sarah Ross b 1778, died December 21, 1820. Children: James B. January 31, 1791/ Died September 15, 1825 Married Elizabeth Polk Henderson b. August 16, 1789, Died June 21, 1860 Jane Married John Craig Gillespie John Robert Sally married: Thomas P. I can see that Mindy has set a "little" homeword for us in these post. I will shortly go through each and research what I have on these Boyds. I have just spent the last 2 weeks going through about 19 folders with papers from last years trip and making a table of contents and making any cross refernces that I can easily remember. I still have another 13 or so folder to Index plus there I know that there are more papers in hte house that I have to sort into the folders as well. Then I can start to work out if the data in the folder belong to an existing family chapter or if I need to creat a new chapter for that data. I will get on with my research an let you all know what I find for each separate posting.
