    3. Members Only have the data from the 1990 DAR Patriot Index which does not give an wife or any other details, but it does say that he died in 1840 in TN. L24 James: b c 1750 VA d 1840 TN m X Pvt VA (no - vol 27, 2nd ch) So do any of the list members know of any Boyd families from Sullivan County, TN No do I seem to have any data on his son William Boyd and his wife Eliza Douglas. Age 90 Sullivan County) Buried behind his old Sullivant County, Tennessee log house, the oldest house still standing in Rock Springs Community. 1780 Botetourt County, Virginia he joined Mar. William Campbells' Company which responded to John Sevier's call for help from VA to fight in the Carolinas. Found when they got to Long Island (Fort Patrick Henry) that they Cherokee were on the Warpath. He was detailed to guard the woemn and children at the fort. Name of wife, unknown.
