Dear Boyd cousins, Howard Jones and Christian Boyd have given us a lot to think about as we try to figure out the Boyds in Chester and Lancaster County, PA, USA. Lancaster Cnty. was formed from Chester Cnty. , 1729, so we have to consider records in both counties for these early families. So much has been written about George and Isabella in Compass, PA, but there is still so much to learn. I am making a plea that if there is anyone that has any info you haven't shared, or even a theory you haven't shared, that you please speak up. When it gets a bit warmer I will be happy to do further research in these two counties if someone has a theory of where new info might be found.
