    3. Joyce, Is this what you were looking for? ISAAC JOHNSON North Carolina Militia. B. 14 Apr 1761 in Craven Co., NC. He lived in Onslow Co., NC when he enlisted in the NC Militia. In 1800, he moved to Davidson Co., Tn. where he applied for a veteran's pension 25 Oct 1832. He mentioned a brother, Charles Johnson who lived in Onslow Co. and sisters Rachel Johnson aged about 76 and Hannah Roach aged about 80, both living in Davidson Co., Tn. in 1832. Record states he mar. Mary Boyd ca 1779 in Onslow County. (Rev War Pension No. S5645) Isaac Johnson was appointed Captain of the Cumberland College Regiment of the Tennessee Militia by Governor John Sevier 7 May 1810. He is listed in tax records of District 6, Davidson Co.,1816. Isaac died 18 Jun 1839 and was buried at Cane Ridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Bronze Marker placed by Stones River DAR on 18 Jun 1972: "ISAAC JOHNSON North Carolina Pvt. Continental Line Revolutionary War April 14 1761 June 18 1839."
