Box 7254, Richmond, Virginia 23221 Page: 26 Dinwiddie County * ALEXANDER BOYD, Sr.* Dinwiddie County Petition dated 2 December 1824 states that that devisees were wife Ann Boyd and his six sons viz William Boyd, James Boyd, Richard Boyd, Robert Boyd, Alexander Boyd and David Boyd. By this date, Ann Boyd and sons James, Robert and David Boyd are dead. Land in question is 1000 acres in Mecklenburg County. Dinwiddie Co Leg.
