Hi,   On Tuesday, April 19th, 2011, Mike Boyd will be in Grand Rapids, Michigan to give a talk on the history of the Boyds.  It will be from 9am-noon at the Main Library in downtown Grand Rapids.  I am still awaiting confirmation of the exact room, so I will send an update once I have it finalized.  If you are planning to attend this talk, please send me an email so that I can make sure you are notified of the exact location.    We are very lucky to have Mike Boyd coming to Michigan and I hope that anyone living in the area and interested in the Boyd family will make an attempt to come to this talk.  The talk will be appropriate for veteran genealogists and those just starting to explore their family history.  If you have a family tree, please print it out or put it on a thumb drive and bring it to the meeting.  Mike has collected over 640 individual Boyd families and is working towards connecting all of these families together.    I look forward to meeting some of you on the 19th!   Yolanda Boyd
