Well here if is nearly midnight. I awoke at my sister's house in Greenock, McKeesport, PA about five o'clock to the aroma of brewing coffee. Mike awoke later having neglected to set his alarm. After a quick bowl of cereal and cups of coffee, we set out for Lexington, KY and Judith Spears at 7:00. We connected about 1:30 after confusion over which exit 113 we needed to find. It was the shortest six and a half hour trip I have ever made. Folks, if you do not make an effort to avail yourselves of this opportunity to learn about our Boyd history, you will someday be so sorry. In spite of a torrential downpour and a 30 minute delay due to an 18 wheeler wreck, I arrived in time for the event in Greenwood, IN. I will meet Mike again May 3 in Knoxville, TN for an open meeting and carry him to Nashville, TN for another.
