Members On the point of long last cousins - there are about 28 generations in the Boyd of Kilmarnock. So that would make and of us at least 26th cousin. However in the USA we might get that down to about 15th or 10th cousins. However, at Edinburgh in 2009 2 ladies were waiting to talk to me about their tree and lived only 18 miles apart and found out that they there 2nd or 3rd cousins but did not know the other person was related. So yes you may find some "close" cousins when you come to this meeting.
