Nancy who married Abraham Reynolds was the daughter of Joseph Boyd b. 1769.  Abraham and Nancy lived in Wythe Co., VA about 1840, and in Russell Co., VA by 1850.  I believe Abraham was a millwright, born in MD (1798).  I would love to know how they met. Nancy (Aaron?) Boyd (widow of Joseph), age 96 and blind, is found living with Nancy Reynolds and daughter Caroline (not the same as Caroline, dau of Rosannah Boyd), on the 1870 census for Russell Co., VA.  This census was taken less than two weeks before Caroline Reynolds' marriage to P. A. Proffitt, whose real name was Prince Albert -- no wonder he went by P.
