    3. I think that Marla also meant to copy this to the whole list. This is the TIME and MEETING VENUE for Wednesday 20 April history talk I hope that besides people from western Ohio, that people from Indiana and northern KY can find time to come along to this meeting. And I hope that I can answer your questions. Although some I may have to take home and do some research on them for you. Look forward to seeing you. And please contact Marla before 20 April, so she has some idea of numbers and so we can have labels to put peoples names on them as well. Mike Boyd Chairman Historical Committee, HBS ----- Original Message ----- From: Marla Fair To: Mike Boyd Sent: Saturday, April 09, 2011 11:36 AM Subject: Re: Mike Boyd visit to Dayton area of Ohio The meeting in the Dayton Ohio area will be held April 20th, 2011 from 6:00 to app. 8:45 at the Troy Hayner Cultural Center in Troy OH. www.troyhayner.org Troy is near the southwest corner of the state, in Miami County, and is app. 1 to 1 1/2 hours from Cincinnati and Columbus, OH, and Richmond, IN. It is about 2 hours south of Toledo, OH. The city is located a few miles east of I-75. The Hayner is located on Main Street, which is also the State Route 41 exit off of I-75. We will meet in one of the rooms on the first floor. If anyone needs directions or suggestions for hotels and places to eat, feel free to email me at dfair@woh.rr.com Troy was established in 1814 and still has many of its original downtown buildings, as well as one of the premiere courthouses of the state, built during the Victorian era. You can check out the city here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troy,_Ohio (I’ve cited the wiki page as it shows the town better than our own mainstreet page and all of the info appears to be correct). There are many nice photos here as well: http://www.city-data.com/city/Troy-Ohio.html As with the others, if you are planning on attending the Troy meeting, please contact me at the above email address. Thanks, Marla
