Boyd, Albert C. 80 born in Pittsburgh, Pa April 15, 1930, to Albert & Cora Boyd. Graduated from Blackwell, Oklahoma High School 1947 and Oklahoma A & M in 1955 with a BS degree. Married Joan Rodgers Dec 24,1950. Served in Japan and Korea with the Battery C/189th F.A. Bn. of the Oklahoma 45th Div from 1950-1953. Discharged as a Sergeant with three medals. He taught in a two room school house in Frisco, Co, then in Breckenridge, Co. and Albuquerque, NM. He spent 18 years with the Alhambra SD in Phoenix. Was a member and officer of AEA & NEA. After retiring from teaching they moved to Del Norte, Co. where they bought the El Rancho Motel in 1982. Retired in 1999 he enjoyed many visits from his children and grandchildren going fishing and sightseeing. He is survived by his wife, 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
