May 1800, leaving a wife Jennett, and children: James, John, who had a son William, Jennett m. ________Moore, Mary m. ________Strawbridge, Margaret m.___________ Williams, and William, who had a son William. Please pass on the following information: The Bi-Annual James Thomas Boyd Family Reunion All related to James Thomas, son of John Boyd and Martha Witherspoon, b. 1830 Rutherford, TN - d. 1915 Diamond, MO) Date: June 11, 2011 Place: Pavilion #3 in Schifferdecker Park (north of 7th St on Schifferdecker). Watch for signs. Time: 11 am till 4 pm (or whenever). Eat at noon. Food: Fried chicken, bread, drinks, plates, cups, etc will be supplied. Bring something to share to go with the chicken. Following Lunch, short meeting to elect officers for the next two years. Please bring your old pictures to the reunion. We will scan them and give them back there at the picnic. When we get them altogether, they will be put ona CD and a for a donation to the reunion fund, people will receive a copy. This is also an opportunity to swap genealogical research. FUN: Bring white elephant items you have around the house or something to auction to help raise funds to pay the expenses for the reunion. There will be prizes for the oldest, the youngest, and the one traveling the farthest. Kids bring your swimsuits, tennis rackets, horseshoes, and most importantly, DON'T FORGET YOUR LAWN CHAIRS.
