Those working on PA might refer to the archives for Jan. 2008,  and the listing "central PA research"  #1,2, 3, 4 will show what is mentioned about the Boyds in books I found at the state archives building and in  the library at Carlisle, PA, the county seat of Cumberland County.  I hope  this is helpful for new members of the list.
