    1. [BOYD] copyright law question
    2. Some time ago Mike Boyd mentioned a document that we found at the Lancaster Historical Society and he said I should start to send the info to the Boyd List. There are many pages of Boyd names from this research done by John W. Heisey in 1966-1967. There is so much that I think I will have to scan or photograph some pages or I will never finish all the typing that would be required. However, I need advice as to copyright law. Is there a list member who is qualified to give an answer? If so, please do. I'd rather not go to jail right now. Thank you! Charlene Boyd Kemp PA State Historian HBS

    3. Your not allowed to scan or copy books in th U.K students here need to buy the books now rather than get pages copied. If you get permission it is fine, i think it will be the same in the U.S Terry On 28 March 2011 15:51, <Charivari2@aol.com> wrote: > Some time ago Mike Boyd mentioned a document that we found at the Lancaster > Historical Society and he said I should start to send the info to the Boyd > List.
