Dear List: I would also appreciate any information on this family.  I have quite a lot of information.other than what I am stating.  I know there is a PA Boyd family also and a MD Boyd family. Some members of this  MD family left area of Shenandoah, Warren County VA area and went West..   It is hard to believe that this is not the same family your mention .  This family left MD, went to Brownsville , MD , and then to Shenandoah Co., VA, which later became Warren Co., VA in 1836.    John Franklin Boyd information   I am working on a John Franklin Boyd line brother to my ggggrandmother Ruth Boyd who was born ca.1780 in Frederick Co., MD later area of Montgomery Co., MD, John born 14 Aug 1778,John married Frances Woodward daughter of Francis Marion and Rachel Trail Woodward of MD. John Franklin Boyd died 14 Oct 1833, (has stone) Browntown, Glen Echo, Shenandoah Co. , VA and burial at Boyd cemetery there now Warren County, VA. Many family members burial at Boyd cemetery.   Have many dates for Boyd family including  John Franklin and Frances Woodward..Some Bible records.   Issue:   William Boyd ****John Franklin Boyd  .
