The families that could be Nancy's are starred in green. In the 1820 census records, I am honing in more towards the Island Creek Twp. Boyds (David and William), since I found a baptism for a Nancy Boyd in the records of the Island Creek Presbyterian Church. According the ancestry.com, the Boyds listed in the 1820 and 1830 census records for Jefferson Co., OH are: 1820 - Stubenville Twp., Jefferson Co., OH - Adam Boyd There are no females 0-10. *1820 - Stubenville Twp., Jefferson Co., OH - James Boyd There are two females in Nancy's age category (0-10). Nancy would have been around 8 years old. *1820 - Island Creek Twp., Jefferson Co., OH - David Boyd There are four females in Nancy's age category (0-10). Nancy would have been around 8 years old. *1820 - Island Creek Twp., Jefferson Co., OH - William Boyd There are three females in Nancy's age category (0-10). Nancy would have been around 8 years old. *1830 - Stubenville Twp., Jefferson Co., OH - James Boyd – There is one female in Nancy's age group. Nancy would have been around 18 years old. (There is a James Boyd listed in “Early Residences of Jefferson Co. Deed Entries 1788-1812. ”This James Boyd came from Chester Co., PA on 11 Mar 1809.) 1830 - Clinton Twp., Jefferson Co., OH. - John Boyd – No family only John – 70-80 years of age (A John Boyd is listed in “Early Residences of Jefferson Co. Deed Entries 1788-1812.” This John is listed as coming from Chester Co., PA on 11 Mar 1809.) *1830 - Knox Twp., Jefferson Co., OH - David Boyd – there are three females in Nancy's age group.
