Joe thank you for posting this data. This data will NOT be all the Boyd land owners in the 1700's. We know that the Rev Adam Boyd's elder brother John Boyd came to PA in 1712 or 1714 with quite a number of other Boyds coming in the 1720's and 1730's. However, because there were Boyds in New Jersey in the 1680's and Boyds in Maryland before 1683, I expect that we find Boyd in PA before 1712. I do not know enough about the History of the Quakers and the Boyds part in it, to know if Quaker Boyds from Ireland and or England may have come to PA before 1712. So there will still be a need to look for both early 1700 information as well as 1600's data.
