    1. Re: [BOYD] The family of George and Isabella Boyd of St. John's Episcopal Church, Compass, Chester Co., PA - Ch 5/266

    3. I have 4 seperate Boyd family files from Westmoreland, Allegheny, Fayette, and Washington County, PA. I am also trying to verify more of the Scott Lee Boyd book due to the numerous questions and errors found. There are no cites as to where he obtained his information. So anything in this book I am very skeptical about. Let me know what is decided and I would be happy to share this information. 3. My wife has Boyd cousins who are from George's line through his son Patrick. There are quite a few researchers of this family on Ancestry.com. Some of these researchers have the line back to a Sir Robert Boyd the Fair or Yellow Hair b. 1275 Kilmarnock and d.1333 at the battle of Halidon Hill. I don't know if any of their research is proven. There are also some early land records for a number of Boyds at the Pennsylvania Archives online.
