I appreciate Joe Williams work on all of the George Boyd lines. I've never been able to find "my" George through ancestry, but that doesn't mean I don't stop looking! I appreciate all the work you are all putting into trying to trace our Boyd's. My George and Mary were in Halifax Co, VA in 1821. I know their children but have not been able to connect them with another family. I think, but here again, its "think" they are probably related to the Alexander Boyd or are one of the George or John Boyd's on the 1798 VA tax list, but have not been able to prove it. Thanks for all your help and all the great research you provide. K. Diggingupbones
I also have a George and Mary. Mine are George Boyd 1715, b Pennsylvania. Died 1763 but don'tknow where. Mary Douglas Boyd born 1715 in Pa, Died 1793, where ? My info says these go back to George and isabella Boyd. Does this sound familiar to you? Judy Boyd Hendricks, Claremore, Ok.
