MARTHA JANE COULTER A former Monessen resident, Mrs. Martha Jane Coulter, 86, of 42 Elwood St. in Monongahela, died Saturday at 5 p.m. in Haven Crest Convalescent Home, Monongahela R.D., after a lingering illness. She was born in Monessen on Aug. 17, 1878, and had livied in Monongahela since 1897. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monongahela. Preceding her in death was her husband, Charles A., June 1952. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Philip (Kathryn) Hamilton and Mrs. Arnold (Doris) Oberg, both of Aliquippa and Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Podroskey Jr. of Monongahela; three sons, Clyde B. of Bentleyville, Wilbur L. and Paul Ivan, both of Monongahela; eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Page Feightner and Mrs. Alfred Hazelbaker, both of Monessen, Mrs. Leslie Horn of Amity; a brother, Lewis Boyd of Monessen.
