Ken Wray has sent me a photo of the Arms of Jackson Wray and Lenora Boyd of Ballycastle. As you look at it on the right side is a set of Boyd arms, with the Azure a fess checquy Argent and Gules. Then above this are two crescents and below the fess chequy is third crescent. Hugh Boyd of Ballycastle has four crescents in his arms - 2 above and 2 below. When I checked with the other Arms I have, it is similar to the Arms of the Boyd-Rochfort family whose Boyd Arms are the same. The fact that these Wray/Boyd Arms have 1738 on them would SUGGEST that Lenora Boyd of Ballycastle knew their connection back to the Kilmarnock family. During my trip to Ballymoney, we were told that Jackson Wray was a "major" sub-lease land owner. Thank you Mike Boyd Historical Committee, HBS
