Dear All: I need a rough head count of those who are planning on attending. Also-- what would be your needs regarding the dates to book your hotel room? As soon as I can get back to the hotel with our "numbers" we will be given a special rate. Please respond to agm@clanboyd.org The festival is April 16-17. Mike is planning a Boyd History/Genealogy meeting for Friday April 15. The Las Vegas International Tattoo is also being held April 15-16. There is much more to do in and around Las Vegas. Plan on more time to see the sites, perhaps travel to the Grand Canyon. Thanks! Lauren

Lauren What "sort" of program are we looking at for this weekend. I was thinking of have the Boyd "history" talk at about 5 or 6 pm - Hopefully at the same hotel we are staying at. However, on the Saturday night - could or should - we go as a group to the Tattoo. I was thinking of "doing" a bus tour around Las Vegas on the Friday morning to see the sites there but a trip to the Grand Canyon might be better - if it can be fittered in, in time. Do any other members have any suggestions or comments on this weekend for the AGM that members can do together. I will be leaving Brisbane on Thursday 14 April and going via Auchland New Zealand, with a few hours stop over at Los Angles before getting to Las Vegas at 6.30 pm on Thursday 14. So I will be ready for bed on getting to the hotel on Thursday night. Mike Boyd Brisbane, Aust.
