Once again all, In light of Ernie's posting, I thought I'd throw my James Bowlin out there again. From the Patrick Co, VA death records, I have JAMES BOWLIN, b ca 1770, d 21 Jul 1861. His parents are listed as JAMES & SARAH BOWLIN. His birthplace is listed as Patrick Co, VA also, although at the time of his birth, the area would have been part of Henry Co, VA. He married ELIZABETH MORRISON in 1801 in Patrick Co, VA (her middle name may have been FRANCES). James and Elizabeth had several children, all of whose names I don't know. Two of the daughters were MARY and LUCY. Mary married an Atkins. Lucy never married, although she had two daughters. Two of his sons, I suspect, were WILLIAM GREEN and JAMES LUKE BOWLING. If anyone out there descends from this family, or has BOWLINGS with Patrick/Henry Co, VA connections, please contact me. Thanks!
