Help! I am searching for Elizabeth Bowlin/Bolin, b. abt. 1810 in Patrick Co., VA, she was still living in 1880 in Patrick Co., VA but disappears after that date. She married in Smythe Co., VA to Paul Howell, b. abt. 1810 in Patrick Co., VA, s/o of Samuel and Lucy Witt Howell. On the "Consent to Marry" form...listed as Suretee is a William Bowlin/Bolin. Is this her father or brother? Elizabeth Bowlin/Bolin and Paul Howell had the following children: 1. Sarah A. Howell, b. 1842, m. Bluford McPeak 2. Louisa J. Howell, b. 1846, m. Henry Fain 3. Austin Howell, b. 1844, died young 8. Samuel B. Howell, b. 1852, died young I am sure she is related to the Gabriel Howell who appears in the Patrick Co., VA Census records, but how?
