    3. I have a copy (negative) secured YEARS ago. I do not think I have seen it on the lists. From Laurens Co Wills Vol. 1 Book C-1 pp 25-26 (sic) (typed, from SC Archives): Will of William Bourland In the name of God Amen I William Bourland Sunr. of the State of South Carolina and District of Laurens being very sick and weake in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be unto God-- caulling to mind the mortallity of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament that is to say prinsapably (sic) and first of all I give and recommend my soule unto the hands of Almighty God who gave it and my Body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian burial at the Diserarection (sic) I shall revive the same again by the mighty power of God - and as treching (sic) such warley (sic) estate wherewith it hath pleases God to blefs me in the life I give demise and dispase of the same in the maner and farm as followes...... first I give and bequeath unto Mary my Dearly Beloved Wife a bed and furniture a mare and saddle and a cow and two hundred dollars to be paid her out of my estate also I give and bequeath unto my children of my daughter Ruby Webure deceased one hundred dollars also I give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Jennet Rammage a feather bed and furniture and three dollars in cash and three hundred wt(?) cotton also I give and bequeath unto the rest of my children to wit - Mary Odle, Pgeabee (sic) Harper, John Bourland, Elizabeth Rammage, Rebekka Fowlar, William Bourland, James Bourland, Jennet Dooland Sarah Grace, Nancy Whetford, Andrews Bourland and Cafa Grace all the all the rest remainder of my estate money debts as effects my just debts being first paid to be equally divided among them and do hereby constitute make ordain and appoint John Bourland my Dearly Beloved Son soule executor dislaw revoke amd disanul all and every other former testament wills seagaus(?) bequeath or executors by me named made or appointed mattifying (sic) allowing and conferming this and no other to be my last will and testament. Testament in wifnes whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of January one thousand eight hundred and foure.... Laurens District Orginal will not in Files of Probate Judge (sic) I searched "William Bourland" on the 1997 Baker_Bolin index list and came up with only 1 hit: 1 Sep 1997 from Pat Mitchell to Baker_Bolin; subject Katherine RANDOLPH b. 1743 in VA m ca 1750 in VA, WILLIAM BOURLAND. Katherine's father may have been Gen John RANDOLPH, seaking information about this Randolph family. Dick Pollock Suggest you pull this up from index if interested.
