Have not posted for awhile and will give it another try. I am still looking for death/ burial and parental information (or any contact) on my gg grandfather, Strawther Bowling who was b. 1814 VA. married Louisa Bell in 1842 in Pickaway Co. Ohio, moved to Dowagiac Michigan by 1848, was a shoemaker, lay preacher, collector of funds for cemeteries, assistant post-master and apparently a citizen of some standing. He died abt. 1870, but is not in the Michigan state death index. I also cannot find his name on any of the cemeterie indexes. HELP. `Linda
