She was a sales clerk for the Dave's Department Store, Norton, and a member of the Tacoma Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Paul Phillips, Walnut Cove, NC; two stepsons, Bob Bolling, Buena Vista, VA, and Norman Bolling, Washington, DC; two brothers, Grover Williams, Jonesville, VA, and Curlin Williams, Hickory, NC; a sister, Evelyn Vogt, Dayton, OH; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
