Hi, I have one Bowling family, I am trying to identify the father/husband. We believe the marriage took place in AL, as two children were born there. The information I have: Unknown BOWLING, husband of (Mary) Lovina/Levina/Lavina CHASTAIN. They had at least 2 daughters: ----- Martha BOWLING b:15 Apr 1825/26 AL d: 18 Feb 1903, Emory TX m: Simeon/Samuel W. HORTON 20 Jul 1843, 1860 Franklin Co, TN census shows children Minerva J, Elmore, Hollace, Anna, Sarah, Louisa, William, Margaret, and Mary F. Half sister Eliza WEEKS was also in the house. Mary BOWLING m:Daniel KITCHENS(CATCHINGS) d: before 1871, children Sarah Lavina, Elizabeth, and W. T. Catchings of Missouri. ----- Levina/Lovina/Lavina CHASTAIN b:31 Aug 1803 in SC, married Unknown Bowling and later married William SHASTEEN and Samuel WEEKS, died abt 1847 in Franklin Co, TN. Thanks!
