I've gotten some requests to repost my Bowlin info, so here goes. It's going to 3 lists, so please excuse if you get duplicates :). I'm looking for ANY TIDBIT of info on Lucy (Lucinda?) Bowlin, b. ca 1816 (don't know where), d. Apr 11, 1859 in Patrick Co, VA. Her death record gives her parents as James and Frances Bowlin. Either she married another Bowling, or she had two daughters out of wedlock, Catherine (May 23, 1839-Feb 4, 1933) and Susan. I've checked the 1840 census records for Patrick Co., and the only household with a daughter the right age to be Catherine is Mark Bowling. Mark is not listed in the 1850 records; Lucy is the head of household then, which leads me to believe Mark could have been her husband. In 1850 or 1851, Lucy married Elisha Anglin and they had a son, Adron b. ca 1851. By the 1860 census, Lucy had died, Catherine had married William Anderson Rorrer, and Susan was living with Mr. Anglin and Adron. I would appreciate anything. Lucy doesn't seem to plug into the "Red Bollings" anywhere, at least not at this point. I'd appreciate any information on the "White Bollings" that anyone would be willing to send me. For now, she's still "Blue," and I'm still hunting for clues. Thanks all!
