Dear Sir or Madam, Hello! My name is Mike Wolf. I am doing Genealogy research on my family heritage. One blood line that I'm working on is the surname Morris (my mothers maiden name). Below I have listed our Morris line as far back as we have been able to research to date. They are all from Ohio, although William Morris may be from or have a connection to Pennsylvania. And Elizabeth Morris maiden name of Munn may have a connection to connecticut. William & Elizabeth settled in the Moreland area of Franklin township in Wayne County Ohio. Some of Thier children moved to the Clinton Township area (Wayne County, Ohio) not far from Shreve in the mid 1800's. Some had a connection to Ripley in Holmes County and Ashland in Ashland County. The following are their children, they and their children were all born in Ohio, possibly Wayne cty., we know they lived at least for a while in an area possibly known as Drakes Valley (we think in the area of Clinton Township, Wayne cty, or possibly As and or Holmes county ohio). The 1900 census found them living in the city of Creston, Wayne cty, Ohio. Found them after 1900 in Akron Ohio, where Rollin, Alice, Alvin, Meritt and Harry are buried in Mount Peace Cemetery. Emma b. 1872 Alvin T., b. nov. 1873 (barber by trade and deaf from scarlet fever at a young age) Meritt B., b. apr 1880 Brantley Bruce, b. 0ct. 1882 d. sept 1850 (my grandfather) Harry E., b. jun 1886 Odessa L., b. mar 1897 (married a Mr. Nagle? lived in Toledo and had a son Rolland J., b. 1897) note: there were probably more children ( Erma?). I have some photograghs of this family and am willing to share copies. Odessa ended up in Toledo Ohio at 639 Colburn St., I believe Rollin lived with her before his death. Also I am pretty sure Alvin was a barber in Toledo for some time.
