All, I am new to the BOWLING list, and this is my first query. One of my many roadblocks is the maiden name of an Elizabeth HALL (widow of a James HALL) who married my Caleb HAZEL 14 Feb 1785 in Nelson Co., KY. Elizabeth and James had 5 children before he was supposedly killed by Indians: Henry, Elizabeth, William, Levi, and Benjamin. Speculation is that her maiden name was HANKS, or maybe HANCOCK, but I haven't found anything for those names. The VA IGI says that a James HALL married an Elizabeth BOLLING ca. 1773. The KY IGI says that the above children were born _maybe_ starting in 1770. Does anyone have anything on this Elizabeth BOLLING? Thanks. Pat Shemenski
