Hi Wayne, I am sorry, I have never research the Bolin's/ Boling in VA as of yet. I have never heard of any that are listed in your data either. I have made a copy of your data and will add it to my folder and when I go there, I will see if it ties into my family. I don't know though because John Sr., when to TN in the late 1700's or early 1800. If Pittsylvania Co, and Henry Co., are like any of the other counties I have been in, they have very good records. The marriages license applications list the name of the parents. And they are there for the public to use. You might want to write to the county courthouse for a copy of the marriage license for Jabe Bolling as you say he was married in 1907 and then you would receive the parents names. Earle Charley Boling's should have the same information, on his. Their death certificates will have them also. If you know when they died and where they local funeral home will give you the info also. If you only know where they are buried call the cem. a lot of times they have the info also. I sure hope this helps. Kathy McKown
