I have a Nancy BOLENE married to John Callahan in that area ca 1740. Their son, John Callahan, JR was born in 1780 and went to LA where he married Marie Josephine Boudreaux, d/o of Benjamin Hilaire Boudreaux and Anne Elizabeth Ferguseon/Forgassine d/o Anselm/Enselm Fergueson and Anne Urina Barry/Berri. The Fergueson/Forgassine/Fergueseon also came from the Stafford Co area. Benjamin Boudreaux and Anne Fergueseon migrated to South LA too. The trail ends in a brck wall for me on the Bolene, Callahan and Fergueson lines in VA. The Boudreaux family is Acadian/French and I can trace that line back to 1600 France and the BOUDROT family. Would be nice to pick up the trail in VA. I'ts been searched for by some of the best genealogists in LA for over 25 years and they all draw a blank. Rose Webb rosewebb@datasync.com
