Linda Sanders Published: Monday, July 21, 2008, Carmi Times MARION Linda Sanders, 66, Marion, formerly of Emma, died at 12:50 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2008 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. She was born Nov. 3, 1941 in Emma, the daughter of Clyde and Clarella (Shoppell) Sanders, and was a retired telephone operator for GTE after 36 years. Surviving are three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Anita Bowles of McLeansboro, Jean and Greydon Angleton of Godfrey and Connie and Richard Pettyjohn of Emma; ten nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and great-nephews. Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City, the Rev. C. William Fechtig officiating. Burial was in Big Prairie Cemetery near Carmi. ================================
