He married Julia Ann Eason 28 Jul 1850 in Moniteau County, Missouri, daughter of James Eason and Sarah Boles. She was born 11 Feb 1831 in probably Stokes County, N. C., and died 24 March 1911 in Cedar County, Missouri where she is buried at Hazel Dell Cemetery.. Their children are Julia Ann Hatton, born May 1852 in Missouri; died Abt. Jan 1908 in Scott County, Arkansas where she is buried at Buffalo Cemetery near Needmore, Ar. She married George Washington Kidd 15 Mar 1876 in at the home of C. C. Elliott, J. P. in Cedar County, Mo.; born 25 Apr 1856 in Jefferson County, Missouri; died 11 Jun 1937 in the home of Charles Kidd south of Bristow in Creek County, Oklahoma.. Second child John W. Hatton, born Abt. 1853. He married Anginette 16 Apr 1871 in Cedar County, Missouri. Third child Benjamin Hatton, born 18 Dec 1857 in Missouri; died 07 Nov 1894 in Cedar County, Missouri where he is buried in Hazel Dell Cemetery.. He married Mary E. Seitz 10 Feb 1878 in at a Seitz resident in Cedar County, Missouri. Anyone know where he might have been born in N. C. if that is actually true (got from census).
