Two different men named James Wood. The James Wood who died in 1777 in St. Mary's County belongs in the family of James Wood and Rachel Gilliam based on where he was living and ownership of "Desert" and "Arabice" (aka "Arabia"). Don't know where the one who m. Elizabeth Tyler belongs, but is probably one of the grandsons of James and Rachel perhaps. Linda Reno
