Hall Saturday evening. Judge C. E. PEOPLES of Pomeroy, was the speaker. A Republican meeting was held at the M. E. Church the same evening with Dr. DEEM of Rutland and other speakers on the program. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. MATLACK were Sunday guests of their daughter, Mrs. Ethel ARBAUGH. Miss Adrienne BOWLES, of Dexter, was here Friday en route to Marietta to attend a teachers' meeting. She visited Miss Myrtle HALLIDAY here. Mr. and Mrs. Carl PARKER returned to their home in Huntington, Saturday, after a few days stay in their property here. Mrs. Sarah Ann HILL, who has been ill, is improved. The Dorcas Needle Club will give an oyster supper and parcel post sale in the hall over the KELLER Store Friday evening Nov. 21. Mr. and Mrs. Hess NICKLES and children of Syracuse, were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. I. C. CHAPMAN. Prof. and Mrs. BLOUGH of Belpre were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. KELLER. The Rev. KOSTER filled his appointment at the U.B. Church Sunday evening. Rev. and Mrs. CALLAHAN went to Eden Sunday where the former preached in the morning and evening and were guests of Mr. and Mrs. H??en BLAKE. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne RITCHEY and children, of Elizabeth, W Va., are visiting in this vicinity. George SHIELDS and sister, Sarah, of Bethel, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Earl SNIVELY and aunt, Mrs. CAMPBELL. Leo SHIELDS has returned to his home in East Liverpool, after a few days visit with his mother, Mrs. V. C. SHIELDS. Mr. and Mrs. Golden BAHR and child were recent guests of the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. BAHR. Mr. and Mrs. Emil MATLACK, of Belpre, and son, were guests of the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E.
