My name is Juda Boles Widener. My g-grandfather Eber Boles was born in Al. in 1855 - died 1935 in Arkansas. His mother was born in Ga. His father was born in SC. I do not know their names, even though I think William was his father and Elizabeth was his mother. My brother did the dna testing for me, but so far we do not match anyone from the Boles list. What I find interesting about your letter are names John and Amanda. Eber had brothers John, Edward (or Edwin) and William. I also had an aunt named Amanda who "was named for a greataunt". Would love to know If we are kin. I do think we are Scot - Irish decent. -------------- Original message from "Robert Campbell" <[email protected]>: -------------- > Lynn > Have you run across any one with the John and Jemima [?] Boles found in > Jones County,Georgia to Dale County,Alabama and into Coffee County,Alabama. > John Boles b.1820 m.
