    3. Diane, by posting your query on the Bowles list, you're doing one of the best things you can do to find your answer. What you post here will end up in the Bowles list archives where future researchers may find it and write to you to compare notes. Be sure to look in our archives: http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl In "Body" put in the name that you're looking for, since you're looking for it in the body of anyone's message who has posted to the Bowles list. Leave "Subject" and "From" blank. In "List" put Bowles In "Date" put 1997. (And when you're finished searching through 1997, put in 1998 and so on up to the present.) Because we've been in existence for 11 years and have innumerable postings, you just may find what you're looking for. The names in your Boles tree---Jemima, Palestine, Lilla, Amanda and Francis---are not common Boles/Bowles names. Let us know if you find something that connects to your group! Very best wishes, Linne >Lynn >Have you run across any one with the John and Jemima [?] Boles found in >Jones County,Georgia to Dale County,Alabama and into Coffee County,Alabama. >John Boles b.1820 m.
