I am trying to untangle a very nasty knot of the BOWLES family in Great Marlow--the problem being two different Thomas BOWLES born 3 years apart (1779 and 1782) that both marry an Elizabeth: One marries an Elizabeth LANGLEY in 1801 and one marries an Elizabeth FRITH in 1808. Their children are all born in Great Marlow, but are obviously all sons or daughters of "Thomas and Elizabeth," and I am trying to figure which children belonged to which couple and which Elizabeth my Thomas married. My Thomas BOWLES was born in 1782 to John and Mary BOWLES and died in 1814 -- so I can rule out the children born after that period -- but I don't want to assume that because he was the younger Thomas of the two, that he was the first one married. Is anybody connected at all to the BOWLES, LANGLEY or FRITH families that could help me sort out this puzzle? LeAnn Walton Seattle
