She died Sunday, May 25, at the Metzmeier Nursing Home in Campbellsville. She is survived by the following children: James and Jack Netherland of Lebanon; Mrs. Kathleen Lilley of Boston, Massachusetts; Ambrose Netherland, Edwin (Red) Netherland, and Mrs. Lena Mae Bowles of Campbellsville; two brothers and two sisters: Sam Newton, Mrs. Rosa Gwinn and Johnny Newton, all of Campbellsville, and Mrs. Ruth Bryant of Ashland, Illinois; eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Campbellsville. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 27, in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with the Rev. George K. Bowling in charge of the service. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were: Bobby Newton, Cleon Newton, Lynnwood Newton, Charles Newton, Joe Newton, and Jimmy Netherland.
