Hello, My great-great grandmother was Elizabeth Shanks Stutz born c. 1828/9. Her parents were Robert T. Shanks and Jane Bowles. She married Conrad Stutz in Falmouth, Pendleton County in April of 1851. Her death certificate (22 March 1912) from Pendleton Co. lists the birthplace of her father as MILLERSBURG, KY. Her obituary in the Falmouth Outlook, 29 March 1912 states that she was born and raised in BOURBON COUNTY, NEAR MILLERSBURG. Does anyone have knowledge of this family in Bourbon County, in or near Millersburg? Robert T. Were your folks Catholic? I am a Shank and Robert and Thomas proliferate throughout the family tree. I don't have this Robert T(homas) but I have a couple of possible starting points.
