Margaret Bowles is thought to be a sister to David and Gideon. What is so interesting about Margaret is she was in several counties of Va. I started to make this post last week as a followup on the different Benjamin Bowles. It was written last week that Zachariel Bowles born 1754 was a son of Benjamin and Nancy Bowles and Zachariel had married Elizabeth from King Wm. Co. Margaret was in King Wm. David and Gedeon (sic)witnessed a sale to Thomas Puryear in 1749 in Henrico Co. Clearly two brothers witnessing their sister's dowry arrangement. In July 1761, Gideon bought 350 ac in Goochland from Henry Martin, who had married Margaret Bowles in Feb, of that year Book 5 1757-1760 6 Oct 1760.
