Burial was in the Union Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Audie Denham; one son, Mitchell, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Walter Witt, of Woodriver, Mich., five granddaughters and one brother, Johnny Denham of near Eighty Eight. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bernadine Witt, Michigan, two brothers, Roy Bowles, Glasgow, Oris Bowles, Eighty Eight, three sisters, Mrs. Iva Kingrey and Mrs. Hamie James, both of Glasgow, Mrs. Vada Cox, Illinois, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services under the direction of McMurtrey Funeral Home were held Monday at Refuge Church with burial in Union No. 2 Cemetery.
