All place names are in Tennessee unless otherwise noted. FLORA BARRENTINE WILLIAMS, retired restaurant worker, age 70, of the Webbtown community, passed away May 10, 2005 at her residence. A native of Jackson County, Florida, Flora was the daughter of the late Oliver and Mamie KILLINGSWORTH BARRENTINE. She married William Allen WILLIAMS who preceded her in death on May 29, 1979. ROY "LANE" CARMACK, SR., age 68, passed away at his home on May 5, 2005 after an extended illness. He was born September 12, 1936 in Celina to his parents, James Robert CARMACK and Linnie Mae BOLES Carmack. He worked as Director of engineering with the Holiday Inn Corporation. Mr. Carmack is survived by his wire, Jean HALL of Cookeville. Burial was ws at Odd Fellow's Cemetery with military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard. HOWARD HOUSTON CROSS, age 77, of Byrdstown, passed away April 29, 2005 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Mr. Cross was born Oct 10, 1927 in Pickett County to the late Leslie and Rhoda GARRETT CROSS. He lived all of his life in Pickett County. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Reba MOON Cross. Burial was in the Cross Cemetery. The above are abstracts of the full obituaries.
