Thomas FARQUHAR was one of the most prominent of those at the turn of the century who fabricated genealogies and lied about his research in order to collect undeserved fees from prominent people who trusted him to trace their family lines. My own BOWLES line is exactly ONE person long Levica Jane BOWLES m. James DUNCAN and despite my Bowles line having one ONE person, Farquhar lied about her unknown parents and established a false genealogy. If this fraud artist can muck up a BOWLES line one person long, just imagine what he did to yours.
