The Southern Illinoisan, Carbondale, Illinois, Tuesday, April 6, 1965 MRS. MAGGIE JOHNSON, 85, OF MARION, DIES Mrs. Maggie JOHNSON, 85, of 1201 E. Reeves St., Marion, died at 2 p.m. Monday in the Hillview Nursing Home of Vienna. Mrs. JOHNSON was born Dec. 1?, 1879, in Williamson County, a daughter of Marshall and Julia PRITCHETT BOLES. She married William JOHNSON who died May 9, 1952. She was a member of the Third Baptist Church of Marion. Mrs. JOHNSON leaves children, Lester and Clifford of Chicago, Robert of Des Moines, Iowa, Mrs. Bertha WEST of Marion; a sister, Mrs. Etta WOODS of Marion; a brother, Bill BOLES of Marion; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Mitchell Funeral Home of Marion. Rev. Robert C. FUSON and Rev. L. C. HARTLEY will officiate. Burial will be in the Old Rose Hill Cemetery.
