Bowles, 60, wife of Kelly Bowles, Ligonier, Ind., died at Goshen Hospital at 1:15 Sunday. She was admitted to the hospital Saturday. She had been ill three years with cancer. A native of Frenchburg, Ky., Mrs. Bowles was born May 14, 1902. She moved to Ligonier 44 years ago and married Mr. Bowles, Dec. 18, 1918. She was a member of the Ligonier Evangelical United Brethren Church, the Eagles Auxiliary and the Women's Relief Corps. Her husband is a native son of Spurlington, Ky., and the brother of Theodore Bowles. Mrs. Bowles was known by many in Taylor County.
