Born in Roman Valley, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Chisholm) Quirk. Surviving are her daughters, Betty (Mike) DeCoste, Pomquet, Antigonish Co.; Fran (Dale) Donovan, Calgary; Rita (Ted) Taylor, Dagger Woods Road, Antigonish Co.; Anna (Wayne) Bowles, Dunmore Road; Mary deWolf, Calgary; sons, Jim (Claudia) DeWolfe, Frankford, Ont.; Steve (Kim) DeWolfe, Calgary; Leo deWolf, Halifax; sister, Stella Murray, Trenton; 16 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo DeWolfe; sisters, Mary Chisholm, Annie Hanrahan, Beatrice DeWolfe, Josie Campbell, and brothers, John Quirk and Leo Quirk. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish.
