Services were in charge of Rev. Harvey Morrison with burial in Elkhorn Cemetery. Mrs. Phillips lived in the Elkhorn community and was born in Taylor County March 27, 1870, daughter of Sallie Stephen and William Fisher. She was 95 years of age. Since early in life she has been a member of the Elkhorn Baptist Church. Seventy-five years ago she was married to Willie Irvin Phillips who died in 1938. Five daughters and three sons were born to this union, Mrs. Otha Morrison preceded her in death in October 1964. Surviving are Mrs. Ira Wise, Elkhorn; Mrs. Omer White and Mrs. Emile Shively, both of Campbellsville; and Mrs. Reta Bowles, Louisville; Leonard Phillips, Louisville; Ray Phillips, Elkhorn; and Truman Phillips, Toulon, Ill. Also 37 grand! children; 73 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Valus Wise, Selmore, Bobby and Lloyd Phillips, Thomas White and Samuel Morrison.
